A NEWSWORKS special presentation -
Electronic Town Meeting: Final Grades for the 2002 Maryland General Assembly

OWINGS MILLS, MD: The Senate and House chambers of Maryland's State House will soon be quiet as this year's legislative session ends. Which of the new laws recently enacted will impact YOU? What will be the major issues for next year? And what grade would you give YOUR state representative?

On Tuesday, April 9, from 7:00-8:00 p.m., share your comments, concerns and opinions with legislators when MPT hosts a NEWSWORKS special presentation Electronic Town Meeting: Final Grades for the 2002 Maryland General Assembly.

Join invited guests Governor Parris N. Glendening; Speaker of the House Casper V. Taylor Jr.; President of the Senate Thomas V. "Mike" Miller Jr., and Delegates Rushern Baker (D-Prince George's County), and Jean Cryer (R-Montgomery County), as they look back at the accomplishments of this most recent legislative session. Submit a question, share an opinion or voice a concern by calling (800) 926-0629 or visiting mpt.org/dc.

Be sure to tune in on Friday, April 12, for the final 2002 edition of Direct Connection State Circle Edition

Electronic Town Meeting and Direct Connection State Circle Edition is produced by Maryland Public Television; executive producer is Steve Kremer.
