Lion
and tigers and bears... Oh My! Bob went on a spellbinding safari to The
Baltimore Zoo to meet animals from around the world. This is what Bob
learned about some of our furry -- and slithery -- friends!
Furry Facts:
- AN APE
HANDSHAKE: Chimps greet each other by touching hands, just like humans
often do!
- HUMPTY
DUMPTY: The humps on camels are used to store fat so that they can make
long trips without food or water. The humps become smaller and droopy
after the camel uses the fat resource.
- SUITED-UP
FOR SPEED: Penquins can swim up to 20 miles per hour and are ONLY found
in the SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE. Would you find a penguin on the North Pole?......
Never!
