College of the Air is a partnership involving MPT and over 40 colleges and universities throughout Maryland, Northern Virginia, Delaware and parts of Pennsylvania. This program makes it possible to earn college credits toward a degree. Students who take telecourses have access to the same support services and campus privileges as on-campus students. The credits are transferable as required core courses or electives.

These courses require a minimum of on-campus presence, so students with job and family responsibilities are able to take more courses than they could if their options were limited to traditional classes.

Students with VCRs have the flexibility to choose where, when and how many times they wish to watch the TV lessons.
