National Family Week — 2007

Children live better lives when their families are strong, and families are strong when they live in communities that connect them to economic opportunities, social networks, and services.

National Family WeekIn celebration of National Family Week (November 18-24, 2007), we are pleased to provide our viewers with a special collection of programming and additional information about our upcoming community conversations throughout Maryland and a documentary special that will illuminate current successes and challenges in foster care. Together, through these activities, we can help and support our region’s children and families.

As always, MPT is proud of its strong and long-standing service to children through award-winning, educational children’s programming. Programming such as Between the Lions, Sesame Street, Arthur, and others help children be prepared for and able to succeed in school. We believe that this is an important aspect of all strong communities and successful children.

We encourage you to create your own opportunity with children, friends and family to celebrate National Family Week!
