The Volvo Ocean Race

Once again MPT brings you weekly coverage of the Volvo Ocean Race with host Gary Jobson. The Volvo Ocean Race has been called the 'Everest of Sailing'. It is nine months of grueling sailing starting in Alicante, Spain in October and concludes in St Petersburg, Russia, in late June 2009. The teams will sail over 37,000 nautical miles of the world’s most treacherous seas. Mr. Jobson, is a world class sailor, television commentator and author based in Annapolis, Maryland.
